Bosco Fest set to present both Bollywood & local artists

Bosco fest which is scheduled to be held on December 7, at Don Bosco Dimapur organized by the Don Bosco alumni association in collaboration with Dimapur Naga Students Union is all set to present both national and local artists. Bollywood artists Palash Sen and Abhijeet Battaacharya arrived in Dimapur on Saturday.


In a press conference here at Niathu resort, Dimapur Palesh Sen mentioned that the band “Euphoria” was on their 25th anniversary tour.
He said that, they have been visiting the NE, but it’s their first time in Nagaland.
Palash Sen also mentioned that they will be performing their most popular songs such as “Dhoom phichuk”, “ Maaeri” and more.
Sen noted that the band has created music in a wide range of languages including Bengali, Hindi, Tamil, Punjabi etc, blending it with Western and traditional instruments.


When asked about the impact their music has had over the years, he stated that the band has been able to capture the attention of listeners from all age groups irrespective of their generation. Sen also encouraged the young upcoming artists from Nagaland to focus on making music which is original and can be accessible to all through platforms such as YouTube. The core vision of visiting Nagaland was to represent the core of the real music.


He stated that he has also studied at Don Bosco. Palash Sen is an Indian singer, songwriter, musician, composer, physician, director and actor. He is known as the founder and frontman of India’s Rock/Pop band “Euphorai”.


Abhijeet Bhattacharya professionally known as Abhijeet, is a Bollywood playback singer. Abhijeet has sung 6034 songs in over 1000 films. He will also be performing during the fest including local artist such as Lenen Jamir and the event will be hosted by Alobo Naga who will also be performing with the artistes.
