The three-day 77th General Conference of the Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) commenced at Losami village on Wednesday.
Over 70 units under CSU are participating in the conference held under the theme “Breaking Barriers, Shaping the Future”.
The introductory session was graced by Dr. Neisatuo Mero, MLA where he encouraged students to seize opportunities and allocate their time wisely for education with hard work and dedication.
He also highlighted on fierce competition in UPSC, NPSC, and NSSB and encouraged the students to maintain perseverance in order to achieve.
He also inaugurated the CSU road in the presence of CYF president Kevesa Khamo and PSU president Rongley Leyri. The session was chaired by CSU tribunal member Vetho Vadeo and concluded with a benediction by the Head Deacon of Losami Baptist Church.
Following the session, the Union Assembly commenced with a prayer by Medowecho-u Mekrisuh, Youth Director of Losami Baptist Church.
Minister of Power & Parliamentary Affairs, K.G. Kenye will grace the inaugural session on February 1 at 9 am.
