Kohima, Mon and Phek hold DPDB meetings

Kohima, Mon and Phek District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meetings were held at respective district headquarters.
Kohima: Kohima DPDB was held on February 15 at the DPDB Conference Hall Kohima under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) and vice chairman DPDB Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, in the presence of Tsielhoutuo Rhütso, MLA.


According to a DIPR report, the members took up the agenda on registration of new societies, where the board decided to recommend Padah Society, Khatso Natso Women Society and Nagaland Rhododendron Society to the government for further action.
On the agenda of “Change of Nomenclature from Silas Memorial School to Mezhur High”, the house decided to recommend it to the concerned authority since all the necessary criteria were found to be fulfilled and made available to the board.


In connection with the forthcoming 18th Lok Sabha Election 2024, the DC reminded the heads of offices who are yet to submit the updated incumbency list and vehicle list to submit it at the earliest.


Mon: Mon DPDB meeting was held on February 15 at the Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mon Office under the chairmanship of DC and vice chairman DPDB Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma.


According to a DIPR report, during the meeting, the LADP 2023-2024 verification committee member was set up. A detail profile of Mon District Hospital was presented by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Mon, Dr. Imnapokyim, where he highlighted some of the problems faced by the District Hospital. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the chairman.


Phek: Phek DPDB meeting was held on February 14 under the under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) and vice chairman DPDB Phek, Kuko Mero.
According to a DIPR report, during the meeting, Mero asked heads of offices of the district to sincerely execute their assigned duties and asked them to attend DPDB meetings.


He also asked the medical department to set up a proper morgue with proper equipment in Phek District Hospital. Mero also informed that the training for BLOs for the Lok Sabha Election 2024 would be held next month.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Phek, Ruopfukuotuo Noudi asked the heads of offices to submit the list of the employees from all the department for the Lok Sabha Election.


The members were also highlighted of respective department and college performances by Superintendent of Police Phek, Dr. Pritpal Kaur, Pfutsero Government College assistant professor, Chothazo Neinu, and Phek Government College, principal, Dr. T. Tiakaba Jamir.
