Naga People’s Front (NPF) has appealed to all the party workers and well-wishers to strengthen the NPF central working committee’s resolution passed on March 11, 2024 to support Dr. Chumben Murry, PDA consensus candidate, in the ensuing Lok Sabha election.
In an appeal, NPF president Apong Pongener stated that in the early part of 2023, the party submitted a letter of support to the PDA government in order to strengthen the ongoing “Indo-Naga” peace process. Accordingly, he said the NPF central working committee had unanimously resolved to support the PDA consensus candidate in response to the official letter received from the NDPP president requesting the support of NPF party in the ensuing parliamentary election.
Therefore, NPF president has appealed to the party rank and file and well-wishers in Nagaland to “unequivocally” support Dr. Chumben Murry in the upcoming Lok Sabha Election, scheduled to be held on April 19, 2024.
