Farewell programme organised for retiring officers

Department of Rural Development (RD), Power Department (PD), organised farewell programmes for retiring officers on Tuesday at respective offices.

Department of Rural Development

RD: The department of RD organised a farewell programme for its director, Azenuo Pienyü, SO-II, Kavito Achumi and MTS, Vishito Swu at RD Conference Hall.
Speaking on the occasion, minister, RD and SIRD, Metsubo Jamir thanked them for their valuable services. He encouraged them to continue to contribute towards the society by utilising their wisdom and experiences that they had gained during their service.
Commissioner & secretary, RD, Kevisa Kense commended on their unwavering contribution and services to the department and particularly to the rural community.
Outgoing director Azenuo Pienyü thanked all rank and files of the department for their continuous support and inputs. She further encouraged all officers to work harder to achieve their goals and to uplift the rural people.
Short speeches were also delivered by Kavito Achumi and Vishito Swu.

PD: The PD organised a farewell programme for its outgoing Chief Engineers, Er. Penrithung Yanthan, chief engineer (transmission and generation) and Er. Tiameren Walling, chief engineer (distribution and revenue).
Speaking at the programme, minister power and parliamentary affairs, K.G Kenye thanked the chief engineers for their exceptional service. He wished them all the best in their future endeavors and also opined that they could serve the State in a much higher capacity in the days to come.
In her speech, secretary (power), Asangla Imti said that the farewell programme was an occasion for commemorating the lifelong carrier achievements of the two outgoing chief engineers who played vital role in the department. She encouraged all the officers and staff of the Department to carry on the mantle of responsibility and uphold the good morale like they did.
In his farewell speech, Er. Penrithung Yanthan underscored three important things for officers working under the department – sharing good ideas, acknowledging room for improvement and valuing the consumers and serving them.
In his farewell speech, Er. Tiameren Walling lauded the officers and staff of the department for their dedication and sacrifices despite being confronted with many challenges, and encouraged all to continue their dedication towards providing good service.
