Nagaland wins 11 medals at National Pencak Silat Championship in Odisha

The Nagaland Pencak Silat team won 11 medals in the 12th Senior National Pencak Silat Championship 2024 held from June 11 to 13 at Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The championship was organized by Odisha Pencak Silat Association under the aegis of Indian Pencak Silat Federation and Sports Authority of India.

The medal winners in Individual category are in Tanding (Match) gold medal by Hatneinem Khongsai; silver medal by Kevin, Hinokali, Niya K. Thono; bronze medal by Avikali V. Shequi, Jon and Kitenlo K. Thono and in Artistic Event Creative Solo Male, silver medal was won by Kevin and in Group Female Regu event, gold medal was won by Avikali V. Shequi, Hinokali and Dausenliu Rentta. The State team led by president Khevishe Sema and head coach Deep Kumar along with senior referee Kuhoshe Chishi.
