With the iconic Spectadior Pump, a crisp white collared shirt, a brown leather jacket featuring an American flag, a wool skirt and a navy polka dot tie—Sonam Kapoor Ahuja brought schoolgirl chic to the Dior haute couture A/W 24/25 show. For her show creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri told Vogue that she set out to create a collection that prioritised, “wellness, comfort, and beauty” with clothes that release the body from form-fitting silhouettes.

Billie Eilish too joined the schoolgirl fashion parade at the 96th Academy Awards, arriving in a Chanel outfit that channelled Cher’s “Most Capable” ensemble from Clueless. Remember Cher in her black blazer over a white collared shirt and printed wool skirt? Yep, it’s still a hit today.
