In view of the “Inter Tribal Cultural Dance Competition”, scheduled on September 2024, Zeliang Students’ Union Dimapur (ZSUD), along with its apex bodies and subordinate units, held an extensive deliberation at Tourist Lodge Dimapur on July 13.


According to ZSUD, the meeting focused on finalizing arrangements and ensured that every aspect of the event reflects the rich cultural heritage of the Nagas. The discussion covered various critical aspects, including the coordination of participants, logistical arrangements, and the preservation of cultural heritage through the competition. Leaders and members of the ZSUD emphasized the importance fostering unity and showcasing the rich cultural diversity of the tribal communities through the event.

The deliberation also addressed the need for ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
At the meeting, Asap Zeliang, president of the ZSUD, highlighted the significance of the competition, mentioning that, “This event is more than just a cultural showcase; it is a celebration of our identity and heritage”.
