Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has reaffirmed its “No Tax Zone on the Teaching Community” resolution that was adopted during the federal assembly in Longleng on January 12, 2015.
ENSF informed that the resolution was reaffirmed at its presidential meeting with eight federating units– CWS, ENSSU, KSU, PSC, TSU, USSC, KSU and YAA– held on July 16, to deliberate on significant issues.

Accordingly, the ENSF has strongly urged all the responsible organisations and individuals to comply with its resolution. ENSF said it has “fully empowered” and directed its federating units to take appropriate actions against any individuals or groups found violating the resolution.
At the same time, the federation has appealed to all the teachers to perform their duties diligently and warned against the practice of employing proxy teachers.

Meanwhile, the assembly also resolved to caution all contractors and firms undertaking or implementing developmental activities to ensure the proper execution of works and projects in Eastern Nagaland in accordance with departmental guidelines.
ENSF has asked its federating units to supervise those projects to ensure proper implementation and to safeguard against “external interferences.”
