On the occasion of the 78th Independence Day 2024, Bendangwati Ao, Deputy Superintendent of Police, has been honored as the sole recipient from the Nagaland Police to receive the President’s police Medal for Meritorious Service. Bendangwati was among 1,037 personnel who have been awarded gallantry and service medals.
