The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rainfall in several parts of the North Eastern states in the next five days.
In its daily bulletin on Saturday, the Met department said that isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over Assam and Meghalaya on August 18 and 23, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during August 18-21.
It also said that heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on August 22 and 23.
