Nagaland: Skill development for rural women at Niuland culminates

The closing programme for skilling of women in rural areas was held at Town hall, Niuland on September 13, with Deputy Commissioner Niuland, Sara S Jamir, as special guest.

According to a DIPR report, Sara in her speech thanked department of Employment, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship for bringing skilling program to Niuland, highlighting that Niuland was still a developing district and has resource constraints, she expressed happiness that skilling programs were being undertaken.

She further highlighted the need for becoming self-reliant and to ensure that economy of district and state was circular and developed and thereby encouraged trainees to put into practice what they learned and train more people to take up self-employment jobs.
