New SDAO office of Chiephobozou inaugurated

Director of Agriculture, C. Peter Yanthan inaugurated the Sub-Divisional Agriculture Office (SDAO) Chiephobozou, under Kohima district, on November 26.

In his inaugural address, C. Peter highlighted the history and milestones of the Agriculture department, underlining the critical role of agricultural services in fostering growth and resilience among farmers. He applauded the establishment of the new office as a significant step towards advancing agricultural development in the region.

Speaking on the occasion, ADC Chiephobozou, Alemyapang Longchar emphasized the government’s commitment to strengthening agricultural development and providing enhanced support to the community. He encouraged both staff and the public to utilize the new office effectively to benefit the region’s farmers and agricultural sector.

The program was chaired by Mhaisikhotuo Mere, Sub-Divisional Agriculture Officer (SDAO) of Chiephobozou. The event began with a dedicatory prayer by Zayieciikho Riiho, Catechist of St. Dominic Church, Chiephobozou.
