Tsiemekhuma Sub Centre inaugurated

Tsiemekhuma Sub Centre, Chiephobozou Block, Department of Health & Family Welfare Kohima was inaugurated on December 7.

A press release by CMO Office Kohima informed that a short formal programme was held with CMO Kohima, Dr. Leamnyei Konyak, as special guest, in presence of Dy. CMO, Dr. Imchatoshi, DVBO/DSO, Dr. Kevilhulie Meyase, DPO (RCH/UIP) Dr. Khrievilhou Nakhro, DPMU, SMO Chiephobozou CHC, MO Botsa PHC & team, BPM and Village Council. Dedicatory prayer was pronounce by Pastor Peteneilhou Rüpreo.

Delivering his address, Dr Leamnyei said that community participation was one of the most important roles in uplifting health centre. As the Health Centre has inaugurated, he urged the community to work hand in hand with health provider for better health services.
He also dwelled on the need for community participation for bringing about sustainable health care services through their participation and active contribution.

The release informed that DPO (RCH/UIP) Dr. Khrievilhou spoke on Universal Immunization programme (UIP) and Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) and DVBO/DSO Dr. Kevilhulie Meyase highlighted on vector borne disease & Climatic change on health system, while vote of thanks delivered by MO Botsa PHC, Dr. Ropfükolhou Dolie.
