Hina Khan Reflects on Health Struggles, Downplays Google Search Recognition

Actress Hina Khan does not view her inclusion in Google’s top 10 most searched actors in the world for 2024 as an achievement, especially given her ongoing battle with health issues.

In an Instagram Story, she shared a post featuring her photo alongside other actors like Pawan Kalyan and Nimrat Kaur, with the caption: “Google’s 2024 global trends: These Indian actors are among the top 10 most searched actors in the world.”

Hina expressed her feelings, stating, “I see a lot of people congratulating me on this new development, but honestly, for me, it’s neither an achievement nor something to be proud of.”

As she fights stage three breast cancer, Hina emphasized that she hopes no one has to be searched online due to health-related struggles. “I wish and pray that no one should be Googled because of their diagnosis or any health-related hardships,” she remarked.

She added that she would prefer to be recognized for her work rather than her current situation. “I appreciate the genuine regard and respect for my journey during these difficult times, but I would rather be Googled or acknowledged for my work and accomplishments, just as I have been before and during my diagnosis,” she stated.

Recently, Hina shared photos from the hospital following her chemotherapy treatment, showing her walking in a hospital gown with a pouch bag attached to bottles. In her post, she reflected on her journey, writing, “Walking towards the brighter side through these corridors of healing… One step at a time… Gratitude, gratitude, and only gratitude.”
