Coldplay to perform in Mumbai today

Coldplay is all set to take the stage in Mumbai on January 18, as part of their highly anticipated Music of the Spheres World Tour. The band, known for iconic tracks like “Paradise,” “Fix You,” and “Yellow,” will perform at the D.Y. Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai tonight, with additional shows scheduled for January 19 and 21.
This marks the band’s second visit to India, following their performance in 2016 during the Global Citizen Festival. After a successful 2024 summer tour in Europe, which saw sold-out stadium shows, Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour has now reached India, continuing its global journey.
Since its launch in March 2022, the tour has sold over 10 million tickets across multiple continents, making it the most-attended tour by any group in history. Fans can expect a thrilling setlist, including hits like “Viva La Vida,” “The Scientist,” “A Sky Full of Stars,” and “Adventure of a Lifetime,” along with stunning visuals featuring lasers, fireworks, and LED wristbands. In addition to the live shows, Coldplay’s latest album, Moon Music, released in October 2024, features unique environmentally-friendly LPs made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.
