The Deputy Commissioner, Niuland has informed all concerned that there will be a mega plantation drive in the name of girl child (age 0 to 10 years) w.e.f. February 1 to March 31 under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mission Shakti.
In this connection, the DC informed that a total of five trees will be planted for each girl child (age 0 to 10 years) and date-time stamped photo along with name, date of birth of the girl child, name of the parent and name of the village shall be submitted through WhatsApp to 6909803445.
The applicants have been informed to take care of the five planted trees throughout the year and send the final date-time stamped photos of the 5 planted trees to the same WhatsApp number between December 1 to 15, 2025.
It further informed that the winners of 1st, 2nd and 3rd will be awarded with cash prizes along with 20 consolation prizes, and the results will be declared on December 20.
The drive is applicable only for the citizens of Niuland district.
