Assam Rifles conducts various activities

Assam Rifles as part of its civic action programme, conducted various activities and awareness programmes across the state.

Career awareness session: A lecture cum career awareness session for the students at Sao Chang College in Tuensang district was conducted on March 1. A total of 112 students along with principal and teaching staff attended the session.

The aim of the interaction was to motivate and guide the young aspirants on the various entries available to join the Army.

Meanwhile, AR also organized medical camps in the remote villages of Phor and Hutsu in Meluri district under Operation Sadbhavana, providing essential healthcare services to approximately 650 villagers including women, children and elderly people.

The medical camps aimed at delivering critical medical assistance, including health check-ups, distribution of medicines and awareness on hygiene and disease prevention. A dedicated team of medical professionals attended to numerous patients, addressing their ailments and offering guidance on maintaining good health.
