Chakhesang, Ao, Sumi, Pochury, Tikhir, Kuki and Sangtam regions under GPRN/NSCN (Unification) have unanimously re-affirmed to support the collective leadership of Gen. (Retd) MB Neokpao Konyak and Alezo Venuh.
According to MIP of the group, the decision was based on the joint council meeting of April 1, 2025 and in the aftermath of the March 22 incident where the region authorities have declared their steadfast commitments to stand behind the GPRN/NSCN (Unification) till the realization of the aspiration of the Naga People.
In another press release, Sanphure Designated Camp, led by its ‘commander Col.’ Vitoshe Sangtam and ‘2nd in command Col.’ Vikaho Zhimo, pledged full support to the leadership of his ‘president Gen. (Rtd.)’ M.B. Neokpao Konyak and ‘Ato Kilonser’ Alezo Venuh. They declared their resolute commitment to stand by the GPRN/NSCN (U) till the realization of the Naga People’s aspirations.
ENNWA: Eastern Nagaland National Workers Association (ENNWA) of the GPRN (Unification) at the meeting held on April 4 unanimously affirmed to fully support the collective leadership of Gen. (Rtd.) M.B Neokapao Konyak and ‘Ato Kilonser’ Alezo Venuh in the aftermath of March 22 incident at Khehoyi designated camp.
The association expressed concern on the unfortunate incident and hoped for peace and tranquillity to prevail within the Naga brothers.
ENNWA further endorsed the collective leadership to pursue for reconciliation in the true spirit of oneness. In a press release, ENNWA convener, Yimto Yimkhiung informed that the meeting was attended by hosts of Senior Kilonsers and Naga Army personnels – Hothrung (MCL), Tochu Phom (ACL) etc.
