A webinar on “AI Applications in Academia” was conducted by the Department of Environmental Science, Nagaland University (NU), on April 25, with University of Kalyani, India, Head of the Centre for Information Resource Management, Dr. Ujjal Marjit as the resource person.
In a press release NU PRO, informed that the webinar examined how artificial intelligence was reshaping research across various fields. The resource person discussed AI’s applications in data analysis, predictive modeling, hypothesis generation, and automating literature reviews, while showcasing several useful AI tools. Overall, it offered an engaging look at AI’s potential to enhance the efficiency and impact of scientific research and academics.
The program was chaired by head of the department of Environmental Science, Prof. Ashutosh Tripathi, department of Environmental Science, associate professor, Dr. Latonglila Jamir coordinated and conducted the webinar.
The webinar was attended by 117 participants.
