Committee on Environment & Climate Change, Nagaland Legislative Assembly, chaired by MLA and chairperson Achumbemo Kikon, held its introductory meeting on April 24. During the meeting, the Committee proposed a spot verification of three rivers in Kohima, Dzüvurü, Vurierü and Sanuorü on May 1, 2025. Secretary in Charge, Khruohituonuo Rio, has urged all committee members to participate in the visit.
