{"id":100509,"date":"2018-03-22T23:46:57","date_gmt":"2018-03-22T23:46:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2018\/03\/22\/nsacs-launches-mmd-caoc-models\/"},"modified":"2018-03-22T23:46:57","modified_gmt":"2018-03-22T23:46:57","slug":"nsacs-launches-mmd-caoc-models","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2018\/03\/22\/nsacs-launches-mmd-caoc-models\/","title":{"rendered":"NSACS launches MMD &#038; CAOC models"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Nagaland State AIDS Control Society (NSACS) on March 14 has launched Multi-Month Dispensation (MMD) and Co-located ART-OST Centre (CAOC) under Differentiated Service Delivery Models (DSDM) ARTC Plus Kohima.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">A press release by deputy director (IIEC), Thejangunuo, informed that the models were launched by joint director (CST), Dr. Keneinguzo Dz\u00fcvichu.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">In his speech, Dr. Keneinguzo said the objective of the two models was to decongest the ART centre by dispensing ART for three months to stable clients, improve ART coverage among PLHIV and key populations and to reduce the travel cost and travel time to access services.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">He also emphasised that all the PLHIV and staff of ART Centre should co-operate and respect each other for the success of the DSDM.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Dr. Keneinguzo further informed that MMD will be implemented at ARTC plus Kohima &amp; ARTC plus Dimapur and CAOC at FIDU CAD Foundation, Dimapur initially.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Earlier, in a welcome address, state program coordinator I-TECH, Bendang Jamir, thanked all the stakeholders for the support received while developing the concept notes for the two models and during the site visits.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">He further stated that the success of the models depends on the continuous support and participation of all the stakeholders.
