{"id":101969,"date":"2016-08-30T23:39:34","date_gmt":"2016-08-30T23:39:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2016\/08\/30\/power-outage-grips-kpa-since-past-two-years-kpa\/"},"modified":"2016-08-30T23:39:34","modified_gmt":"2016-08-30T23:39:34","slug":"power-outage-grips-kpa-since-past-two-years-kpa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2016\/08\/30\/power-outage-grips-kpa-since-past-two-years-kpa\/","title":{"rendered":"Power outage grips KPA since past two years: KPA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\">After almost two years in a row, Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) As\u00fckhuto town under Atoizu sub division, has suffered without electricity, reportedly.<\/span><\/div>\n<div>This plight came into light when the KPA students and faculty, disclosed it to the Nagaland Post about the four months old destroyed\/nonfunctional transformer, Tuesday evening.<\/div>\n<div>Speaking exclusively, to Nagaland Post, KPA community (students &amp; faculty) lamented, \u201cever since last year, Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) As\u00fckhuto town, Atoizu has been a victim of frequent blackouts and power outages\u201d.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cAnd this year, in May 2016 the transformer has exploded again and this is the 4th month we\u2019ve been suffering without any positive outcome from the concerned authority\u201d, rued the joint KPA fraternity.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cDuring the last previous semesters, the neighboring Rotomi village helped and rescued us twice with their transformer. We, the students and staff of Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA) are facing lots of major untold ordeals due to the frequent power outage and blackouts\u201d, bemoaned the KPA community.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cAll, our classes \u2013 practicals, workshops, computer and other technical workloads are being halted and kept on hold mostly on various branches of engineering\u201d, maintained KPA victims.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cWe had to go to the next nearby village to get all our gadgets charged for various assignments since we\u2019re living in a 4G (fourth generation) technological world; however, keeping apart the 3\/4G spectrum KPA being the oldest technical institute in Nagaland is deprived of basic amenities\u201d, questioned the KPA in their deepest and strongest words, \u201cas to when, will the \u2018government address\u2019 our plight\u201d.<\/div>\n<div>KPA in a clarion call to all the concerned authority (s) gave a cautionary note seeking clarification, \u201cwill the issue be tabled\/put into action by the government only after agitations, boycotting or resorting to strong resentments or other ultimatum?\u201d, warned the KPA fraternity in conclusion.<\/div>\n<div>It also added, that, \u201cwe will not be responsible for any untoward circumstances or reciprocations if our grievances are not addressed at the earliest\u201d.
