{"id":102047,"date":"2016-08-30T00:24:34","date_gmt":"2016-08-30T00:24:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2016\/08\/30\/nh-702-re-mapping-tmlajc-appeals-ku-to-withdraw-petition\/"},"modified":"2016-08-30T00:24:34","modified_gmt":"2016-08-30T00:24:34","slug":"nh-702-re-mapping-tmlajc-appeals-ku-to-withdraw-petition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2016\/08\/30\/nh-702-re-mapping-tmlajc-appeals-ku-to-withdraw-petition\/","title":{"rendered":"NH-702 re-mapping: TMLAJC appeals KU to withdraw petition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>Tobu-Mopong-Longching Area Joint Committee (TMLAJC) for NH 702 &amp; 702 B has appealed to Konyak Union (KU) to immediately withdraw the petition submitted to the Nagaland Minister of National Highways on June 15 asking for re-mapping of NH 702 on or before August 31, 2016.<\/div>\n<div>In a letter addressed to the president Konyak Union, the committee convener Aknyu Konyak, co-convener A.M. Kaiba Konyak and secretary Hongnaw H.A Konyak warned that the committee would withdraw support to the Konyak union if it failed to withdraw the application.<\/div>\n<div>The committee expressed dismay over the action of the KU for partially diverting NH 702 to Aopao junction\/Aopao Changle and \u201cinconsiderately\u201d neglecting the total diversion destabilizing and unfair treatment to the people of the aforementioned areas.<\/div>\n<div>The committee appreciated the effort of the KU to integrate the Konyaks and its land through all positive means in the past. However, the committee said to its utter surprise, it was learnt that NH 702 and NH 702 B approved by the Union Ministry of Road Transport and Highways have been \u201cput under the uncertainty with arbitrary action by means of insisting to partially divert the NH.702 to Aopao junction\/Aopao Changle and inconsiderately neglecting the total diversion of NH.702B to Mokokchung District.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>In the light of the above, the committee urged the KU to immediately withdraw the petition and to vehemently pursue for the retention of the diverted NH.702B as per the original DPR.<\/div>\n<div>The committee cautioned that failing to act positively on the above subjects, the 34 villages and five administrative headquarters under three KU Branch would move for a non-cooperation against the Apex KU as per the resolution (c) Clause I,II,III adopted on August 24, 2016.<\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tobu-Mopong-Longching Area Joint Committee (TMLAJC) for NH 702 &amp; 702 B has appealed to Konyak Union (KU) to immediately withdraw the petition submitted to the Nagaland Minister of National Highways on June 15 asking for re-mapping of NH 702 on or before August 31, 2016.
