The 47-year-old actor &#8211; who raises adopted children Maddox, nine, Pax, seven, and six-year-old Zahara, as well as biological kids Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, with Angelina Jolie &#8211; admitted he has \u201cissues\u201d with the religious way he was brought up as a child.<\/div>\n<div>He said: \u201cI got brought up being told things were God\u2019s way, and when things didn\u2019t work out it was called God\u2019s plan\u201d.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cI\u2019ve got my issues with it. Don\u2019t get me started. I found it very stifling.\u201d<\/div>\n<div>However, Brad &#8211; who plays a father bringing up his family in 1950s Texas in new movie \u2018The Tree of Life\u2019 &#8211; explained he is keen for his children to see their own upbringing in a positive light, and thinks about how they will feel in everything he does.<\/div>\n<div>He added to People.com: \u201cI think of everything I do now that my kids are going to see when they grow up and how are they going to feel.
