Britney Spears might be looking to build a future with her agent boyfriend Jason Trawick, but it has emerged that the pop singer cannot get married while under conservatorship. Ever since her 2008 psychiatric meltdown, Spears is under tight conservatorship, meaning her father Jamie Spears is in control of all her assets, finances, and decisions – both personally and professionally. <\/div>\n
According to Spears\u2019s parents, their daughter is also \u2018mentally incapable\u2019 of testifying in court, in a trial related to a lawsuit filed by her former manager Sam Lutfi against mom Lynn Spears for defamation.<\/div>\n
