The identity of the woman who had a child fathered by Arnold Schwarzenegger 10 years ago has been revealed.<\/div>\n
She is Mildred Patricia Baena (Patty), who worked as a housekeeper\/assistant for Schwarzenegger\u2019s family for more than 20 years.<\/div>\n
Her jobs included cleaning, laundry, cooking and other chores, reports TMZ.<\/div>\n
According to the sources, in the late 90\u2019s Baena began to \u201cpursue Arnold.\u201d <\/div>\n
When she became pregnant, she didn\u2019t tell Schwarzenegger that he was the father. <\/div>\n
The star didn\u2019t learn he was the daddy until the boy was a toddler.<\/div>\n
Baena-who made 1,200 dollars a week-was treated well by Schwarzenegger once he found out. Sources said that he was always \u201cgenerous.\u201d<\/div>\n
Baena-who has recently retired-now lives in a 4 bedroom house with a pool, several hours outside of L.A. with the boy and her 3 other kids.<\/div>\n
Meanwhile, Arnold Schwarzenegger\u2019s estranged wife Maria Shriver has revealed that she is heartbroken over revelations that her actor hubby of 25 years fathered a love child with a member of their household staff 10 years ago. <\/div>\n
The former Governor of California made the bombshell admission a week after the couple announced they had separated after 25 years of marriage. <\/div>\n
The 63-year-old only told his wife about the child after he left office in January – leading to the couple\u2019s split.<\/div>\n
It is believed the member of staff in question, who has not be named, retired in January after worked for the Schwarzenegger family for more than 20 years.<\/div>\n
\u201cThis is a painful and heartbreaking time,\u201d the Daily Mail quoted her as saying. <\/div>\n
\u201cAs a mother, my concern is for the children. I ask for compassion, respect and privacy as my children and I try to rebuild our lives and heal. I will have no further comment,\u201d she added. <\/div>\n
In a statement released to the LA Times, Schwarzenegger said: \u201cAfter leaving the governor\u2019s office I told my wife about this event, which occurred over a decade ago\u201d. <\/div>\n
\u201cI understand and deserve the feelings of anger and disappointment among my friends and family\u201d.<\/div>\n
\u201cThere are no excuses and I take full responsibility for the hurt I have caused\u201d.<\/div>\n
\u201cI have apologised to Maria, my children and my family. I am truly sorry\u201d.<\/div>\n
