A week after the cracks in Dannii Minogue and Kris Smith\u2019s union first became public knowledge, Confidential has been told why Smith walked out on her almost three weeks ago. Sources close to the football player-turned-model say he had become tired of being treated \u201clike staff\u201d by his more famous de facto wife. \u201cKris felt that he had become an extension of Minogue\u2019s team of assistants,\u201d the source told Confidential. \u201cSomeone she just dealt with, like a nanny or a secretary. Not one half of a loving relationship\u201d. \u201cTheir conversations were cut down to the bone. The only thing they talk about is business and travel.\u201d Smith and Minogue\u2019s relationship appears to be back on track. Rumours that Dannii Minogue and Kris Smith were having trouble first surfaced last month when the pair exchanged messages on public micro-blogging website Twitter. Ms Minogue tweeted: \u201cNever chase love. If it isn\u2019t given freely by another person, it\u2019s not worth having.\u201d \u201cForgiving someone does not mean forgetting what they did.
