{"id":103722,"date":"2012-06-21T23:13:46","date_gmt":"2012-06-21T23:13:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2012\/06\/21\/yitachu-graces-silver-jubilee-of-khumiasu-village\/"},"modified":"2012-06-21T23:13:46","modified_gmt":"2012-06-21T23:13:46","slug":"yitachu-graces-silver-jubilee-of-khumiasu-village","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2012\/06\/21\/yitachu-graces-silver-jubilee-of-khumiasu-village\/","title":{"rendered":"Yitachu graces silver jubilee of Khumias\u00fc village"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/YKCTCCTKERMFYDZPTLTR.jpg>Parliamentary secretary for tourism, law &amp; justice, Yitachu graced the silver jubilee celebration of Khumias\u00fc village, near Meluri on June 20.<\/p>\n<p>Yitachu asserted it was not only celebrating the recognition of 25 years of the village but a celebration of history as Khumiasu happened to be the first Catholic village in Pochury tribe.<\/p>\n<p>Also stating that Khumias\u00fc happened to be the first cent percent Catholic village in Nagaland, Yitachu said such feat has made Pochury people proud.<\/p>\n<p>The parliamentary secretary challenged villagers to maintain honesty and truthfulness.<br \/>\nLater, he inaugurated the newly constructed football and rostrum of Khumias\u00fc village, constructed under DUDA. Yitachu also called upon the people to insist on quality construction.<\/p>\n<p>A brief history of Khumias\u00fc village was given by Shiekutho Nyusou. Earlier, welcome address was delivered by Riechusie, Village Council chairman while a pioneer speech was delivered by Khazhipa Nyusou. <\/p>\n<p>The programme concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Shietsutho, secretary KVC.
