{"id":108080,"date":"2012-06-26T00:58:46","date_gmt":"2012-06-26T00:58:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2012\/06\/26\/anti-malaria-month-at-cheiphobozou\/"},"modified":"2012-06-26T00:58:46","modified_gmt":"2012-06-26T00:58:46","slug":"anti-malaria-month-at-cheiphobozou","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2012\/06\/26\/anti-malaria-month-at-cheiphobozou\/","title":{"rendered":"Anti-malaria month at Cheiphobozou"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Continuing with the activities for observation of anti-malaria month, sensitization and distribution of Long Lasting Insecticide Nets (LLIN) was conducted for Cheiphobozou block at the panchayat hall, Tsiesema, on June 22.<\/p>\n<p>District malaria officer, Dr. Atsung, sensitized the gathering on transmission of malaria and measures to control the spread of malaria and highlighted the need for community participation and involvement, the services available and to have their blood tested in case of fever in order to enable early diagnosis and treatment.<\/p>\n<p>She also spoke on harmful effects of tobacco and the need to control the use of tobacco in both smoke and smokeless forms.<\/p>\n<p>District tuberculosis officer, Dr. Vezokholu, also spoke on various services available to control the spread of TB and to take early action in case of cough for more than 2 weeks to have their sputum tested for early detection and treatment of TB.
