\nNMA president Abie-U Meru and secretary Lochumbeni Humtsoe also drew the chief minister\u2019s attention on what it termed \u201chighly objectionable\u201d act of home minister Imkong L.Imchen who refused to meet the delegation of Naga women, with vague excuses, when they had gone to his official residence to submit the memorandum in the morning of June 18, 2011.
\nThe JAC said when the memorandum was submitted to Imchen\u2019s PS the latter refused to accept it on the plea that the minister was not at home. \u201cThe committee has viewed this very seriously,\u201d it said.
\nJAC also demanded that the accomplice, now in the custody of the NSCN\/GPRN, be handed over to the police for action as per the law.
\nIn the memorandum, JAC termed it \u201cunfortunate\u201d that SIT\/police failed to arrest absconding culprit Worshim Kashungl till date despite strong protest and appeals.
\nJAC also pointed out that matter was even more serious as the said culprit had the audacity to ring up and threaten the victim on the night of June 28 at 10.45 p.m.
\nIt also condemned the threat on Imtila\u2019s life the very night when leaders of the action committee of the Watsu Mongdang and the Ao Senden met the collective leadership at New Delhi at 9.30 p.m.. JAC said it was \u201chighly questionable\u201d that barely an hour after memorandum was submitted to the collective leadership for action, the culprit resorted to threatening the victim again.
\nIn the light of the above, the JAC demanded that the state government immediately initiate prompt action through ceasefire monitoring group as a priority issue. <\/p>\n
