\nDwelling on vision 2020, the minister said to achieve this goal one should work towards and harness the rich resources that were available with them. Touching on article 371(A) about the land and its resources the minister said, ways and means were being worked out as to how natural resources should be utilised in Nagaland, where civil societies like Naga Hoho, NMA agreed upon but ENPO not willing to participate in this issue was wrong. He said, \u201cENPO demanding state is a central subject and not a state subject, the best state can do is done so the state has recommended autonomous to central government but advise the people to live in reality and work together for the welfare of its people\u201d.
\nThe minister said, \u201cWith the inauguration of new DPPO office the district would be able to take part in the 12th five year planning and asked the people to co-operate with the officers for better implementation of the work in the department\u201d. He was accompanied by MLA & Chairmen MARCOFED C.L. John, MLA Toshikokba and MLA and chairman NSMDC Kipili in the presence of host of officers from planning department and DPDB members Kiphire. Parliamentary secretary CAWD T. Torechu who spoke on the occasion opined that district was no more back ward as developmental activities have reached every nook and corner of the district.
