{"id":110034,"date":"2016-04-19T17:31:31","date_gmt":"2016-04-19T17:31:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2016\/04\/19\/aktm-demands-action-against-irregularities-in-edn-system\/"},"modified":"2016-04-19T17:31:31","modified_gmt":"2016-04-19T17:31:31","slug":"aktm-demands-action-against-irregularities-in-edn-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2016\/04\/19\/aktm-demands-action-against-irregularities-in-edn-system\/","title":{"rendered":"AKTM demands action against irregularities in edn system"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>Asetkong Students\u2019 Conference (AKTM) has demanded department of school education to put an end on the practices of various irregularities that was afflicting the education system, including the presence of proxy teachers, non availability of free text books, etc.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>AKTM said that during their tour under its jurisdiction from April 13 to 18, they have found many irregularities.<\/div>\n<div>They claimed that there was inadequate number of teachers in some schools and the vacancy created due to retirement, promotion, death etc were yet to be filled.<\/div>\n<div>GPS Longjang Compound and GMS Sungratsu needed Hindi teacher immediately and GPS Yimchalu, which has only two teachers, needed adequate number of teachers, AKTM alleged.<\/div>\n<div>In this connection, the student body has urged the state government to deploy teachers to the requisite schools and fill the vacant posts at the earliest.
