He was 57.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div>According to NSCN (I-M) sources, Grinder Muivah had been a cardiac patient and on April 5 he was rushed to the hospital due to sudden illness.<\/div>\n<div>NSCN (I-M) sources said the doctors informed that late Grinder suffered allergy due to infection in the digestive system, which led to multiple organ failure and eventually cardiac arrest. Sources informed that a condolence service was held at New Delhi on Wednesday and the mortal remains would be flown to Imphal, Manipur on April 7 wherein a condolence service would be held in the evening. The body would then be taken to Ukhrul on April 8 for &nbsp;people to pay their last respect. Finally the body would be taken to his native village Somdal, where he will be laid to rest. He is survived by his wife, three sons and a daughter.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Condolences<\/span><\/div>\n<div>NSCN (I-M) has expressed deep grief at the \u201csudden and untimely\u201d demise of late Grinder Muivah in Delhi on April 6, 2016 due to heart failure.<\/div>\n<div>In a condolence message, MIP-NSCN\/GPRN said late Grinder Muivah was born in Somdal village of Ukhrul district to a family whose contribution to the cause of Naga nation was \u201cundeniably immense.\u201d&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>According to MIP, in 1995, the Government of India proposed his name to be a \u201cGo between\u201d for the Indo-Naga political dialogue to which the NSCN agreed upon.<\/div>\n<div>Since then, MIP said he has been passionately engaged in between the two parties in order to arrive to a logical conclusion to the Indo-Naga political imbroglio.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cIt is hard to accept the fact that he is no more with us at this crucial juncture when his presence is ever more needed,\u201d MIP said, adding that with his demise a vacuum to the political process was being created, which would be difficult to fill.<\/div>\n<div>Saluting the departed soul with \u201cimmense love and gratitude\u2019 for the great contribution rendered to the Naga nation, MIP said he would always be fondly remembered.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Meanwhile, NSCN (I-M) prayed that the departed soul would rest in eternal peace and that the Almighty God would provide abundant love, kindness and give comfort to the grieving family at this time of sorrow.<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">NH: <\/span>Naga Hoho has deeply mourned the sudden demise of Grinder Muivah, on April 6, 2016 at New Delhi. In a condolence message, Naga Hoho general secretary Mutsikhoyo Yhobu described late Grinder Muivah as \u201ca sincere and dedicated business man and an active Naga leader\u201d who contributed immensely to the building of the Naga society, which would be always acknowledged and cherished.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>In his death, Naga Hoho said \u201cwe have lost a great leader of our Motherland who was a devoted professional business man and a true leader.\u201d The Hoho prayed that his soul rest in eternal peace.
