However, ADC said that the wildlife officials expressed their inability to track the tiger as there was no equipment available with them.<br \/>\nTaking serious note of the report, ADC was informed that it was imperative for the Forest department to constitute a committee to control such issue. <br \/>\nADC also requested the department to take emergency measures for safety of public and conservation of tiger. The team assured the district administration to immediately setup SOP. <br \/>\nIn the meantime, the Forest department has requested the administration to inform all neighbouring villages and areas including Niuland, Chumukedima and Dhansiripar that the tiger could possibly move in these areas. They have also appealed to the public to inform about any sightings and to be cautious for safety.
