{"id":114304,"date":"2016-02-26T00:32:27","date_gmt":"2016-02-26T00:32:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2016\/02\/26\/awareness-programme-on-alternate-farming-system\/"},"modified":"2016-02-26T00:32:27","modified_gmt":"2016-02-26T00:32:27","slug":"awareness-programme-on-alternate-farming-system","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2016\/02\/26\/awareness-programme-on-alternate-farming-system\/","title":{"rendered":"Awareness programme on alternate farming system"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/><\/p>\n<div>In view of the threats posed by wild elephants \u201cawareness programme on alternate farming system\u201d was organized by Hammock Resort Group, Wokha on February 22.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Resource person, DAO Wokha, Peter Yanthan spoke in brief about the habitats, behaviour, food habits and nature of elephants and on how to avoid elephants. &nbsp;He pointed out that in order to get a solution one should study and understand the problem.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Another resource person, DHO, Wokha, Kilemsungba Ao spoke on the importance of resorting to antiviolence when it comes to avoiding the elephants.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Poultry farm manager, veterinary department Wokha, Dr. Mhonlumi Tsopoe spoke on animal husbandry as an alternate farming system.
