Mozhui said he was at his friend place at PWD rental complex \u201cplaying video games\u201d. <\/p>\n<p>On hearing the commotion between the mob and police, he remained at his friend place. Unawares of the prohibitory order (section 144CrPC) imposed, and thinking that the commotion was over, he came out of the complex. <\/p>\n<p>He said some IRB personnel intercepted and assaulted him without any interrogation near the gate of the complex and was later taken to Dimapur Hospital. <\/p>\n<p>The mother of the victim said, with ten stitches on his head, fractured hand and bruises all over the body, his son was not able to eat anything. For the third time, he was admitted, the mother lamented.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Dimapur Kyong Students\u2019 Union (DKSU) has condemned the assaults on \u201cinnocent\u201d youth including the minor boy by IR jawans. <\/p>\n<p>DKSU president, S. Chenithung Kithan said the \u201chigh handedness\u201d by IR jawans, assaulting innocent people like \u201canimals\u201d without proper interrogation and investigation is uncalled for. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they (IR) want, they should have taken the youths to police station for interrogation and investigation,\u201d DKSU said, adding the manner in which IR jawans acted was \u201ctrying to create mayhem\u201d in the society. DKSU has also condemned the barbaric and gruesome murder of late Nungshilila Jamir on July 4.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold; color: #ff0000;\">ASUD condemns assault<\/span><br \/>\nAo Students\u2019 Union Dimapur (ASUD) expressed shock and condemned the high-handedness of police personnel on July 6 where many were \u201cassaulted and hospitalized\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In a press release, ASUD president Opongtokba Longkumer and general secretary L. Bendang Jamir said it was shocked by the way IRB personnels \u201cmercilessly beat up many innocent people for no reason, as a result of which many were hospitalized.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While appreciating the hard work put in by police in manning the city, ASUD however said it was disturbing and worried by \u201cthe way trained personnels react during crucial situations.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are supposed to feel safe by their presence, but if this is what trained personnel do, then who do we rely upon for our security and safety.\u201d ASUD asserted. <\/p>\n<p>ASUD further lauded Dimapur police for apprehending the accused involved in the gruesome murder of late. Nungshilila and hoped that it would deliver justice at the earliest. <\/p>\n<p>The union urged the authorities to look into the way \u201csome personnels react during such situations.
