Altogether eleven contestants from Wokha was screened and are through to the next audition which will be held on August 4 at Sinai Hall of Mt. Sinai School Wokha. Meribeni Ngullie, branch manager Progressive Youth Welfare society spoke words of encouragement to both the contenders and the people gathered at the function. <br \/>\nAs per the release, Campus Icon would feature special package for the contestants this year. In each audition a participant will be chosen as \u2018best contender of the audition\u2019, based on the marks scored from the performance and partly from the marks scored from the votes received. <br \/>\nIt was further informed that voting will be valid only for the next two auditions and that there will be absolutely no voting in the grand finale but will be determined purely on the decision of the judges and the marks scored from their performance at finale.<br \/>\nGrand prize money for the Campus Icon is sponsored by Progressive Youth Welfare society, Wokha branch.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 6th edition of Campus Icon \u201cMusic for Better Education\u201d kick started Saturday at Hotel Hornbill.
