Golden Crown Theological College (GCTC) hosted a Charity Concert under the theme, \u2018Defying Gravity\u2019 on March 26 at the college premises.<\/div>\n
The concert was a fundraising event for the girls\u2019 dormitory as the number of students had been growing steadily.<\/div>\n
The rustic, organic and ethereal d\u00e9cor made for the concert matched the energy and vibe of both the performers and audience. The crowd were mesmerized with pieces from musicals and soundtracks of famous movies, ranging from \u2018Les Mis\u00e9rabl\u00e9s, Frozen, Tangled\u2019 to \u2018Twilight, Fast And Furious 7 and James Bond Spectre\u2019. The pieces catered perfectly to both the young vibrant audience as well as the more matured beautiful ones. <\/div>\n
The performers for the event included Kivika, Ebeni, Kiren, Chumchilo, Atong, Meribeni Patton, Thunglamo Ngullie, Norman Villas, Thungyani, Chandeno, Frankie Kaurinta,  Thungbeni, Liro, Khristin, Kito Sumi, and Avoni Odyuo. Avoni Odyuo, music director, in her vote of thanks, also emphasized the value of money, and the fact that everyone spared Rs 500 for a ticket means so much to the college. It reveals their support for the cause and the ministry carried out by the college with the students and the community. <\/div>\n
The progress of the girls\u2019 dormitory along with the amount raised will be posted on the college\u2019s Facebook Page which can be viewed along with progress of the work and other college activities.<\/div>\n
