NBCC organized the conference under the theme \u2018Grace for the Youth\u2019 with an attempt to lead the students towards the path of Jesus Christ, to instill the fear of God into the minds of the students and to lay a strong foundation towards the students for their success.<\/p>\n
Addressing the packed NBCC convention centre during the inaugural session, minister for school education C. M Chang called upon the students to deliver justice to the land and its people by making the place a better generation to live in.<\/p>\n
Chang said that the generation was becoming complex and that the world was full of conspiracy, treachery, immoral activities, wars, unstable world economy and corruptions and in that natural calamities has been witnessed over the days. He said that young Naga boys and girls were standing in the midst of all these.<\/p>\n
Stating that it was high time for every Naga youth to contribute to the \u201cdisastrous\u201d world, Chang said that it was time for the youth to give a \u201cserious thought\u201d about it and urged them to bring peace and changes and hold fast onto the faith with unflinching spirit.<\/p>\n
Pointing out that Nagaland was in a very \u201csensitive and dangerous crossing\u201d, Chang said that as Christians one must never let go of their Christian discipline and added that Nagaland being in a sensitive crossing it might lead to complete failure in Christian discipline.<\/p>\n
Urging the students to understand one another\u2019s weakness and understand and love each other, Chang said each must hold on to their faith and fight the evil unceasingly.<\/p>\n
Chang while stating that the students should be aware that they were the future leaders, he asked them to strengthen their weaknesses with God\u2019s word.<\/p>\n
He then said that SSC should be a platform for the youth to bring about peace, changes, tranquility and harmony to the land and appreciated the organizers for inviting even the drop-out students into the conference.<\/p>\n
Earlier, Reverend Dr. Phuveyi Dozo hosted the flag and pronounced the invocation prayer, while programme was chaired by Pastor Pucho Kiso.<\/p>\n
Introductory note was delivered by the convener, organizing committee SSC and S.P Francis delivered the welcome address and students from Mt. Hermon HSS and Chandmari HSS presented choral presentations.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, in the first session of day-one Rev Dr. Rach\u00fclie Vihienuo who was the resource person spoke on the topic \u2018Love, relationship and marriage\u2019 while Dr. Tesibu Rutsa delivered the message in the worship service.<\/p>\n
The second day of the conference would begin at 9 a.m. which would include teachers\u2019 seminar, students\u2019 seminar and worship service. Arrival at the venue would be at 8:30 a.m. and the buses would be available at the respective pick up points.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
