{"id":118764,"date":"2016-01-19T22:34:27","date_gmt":"2016-01-19T22:34:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2016\/01\/19\/tokheho-yepthomi-graces-yaa-golden-jubilee-celebration\/"},"modified":"2016-01-19T22:34:27","modified_gmt":"2016-01-19T22:34:27","slug":"tokheho-yepthomi-graces-yaa-golden-jubilee-celebration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2016\/01\/19\/tokheho-yepthomi-graces-yaa-golden-jubilee-celebration\/","title":{"rendered":"Tokheho Yepthomi graces  YAA golden jubilee celebration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/>Yimchungr\u00fc Akher\u00fc Arih-ako (YAA) golden jubilee celebration was graced by minister for PHED, Tokheho Yepthomi as chief guest at Shamator town, Tuesday.<br \/>\nSpeaking at the inaugural function, Tokheho acknowledged and saluted Yimchungr\u00fc Akher\u00fc Arih-ako&nbsp; who he said had the vision and wisdom to form the organisation for benefit of Yimchungr\u00fc students in particular and Nagas in general.<br \/>\nTokheho said over the years the organization has done a lot of good works for the Yimchungr\u00fc people in particular and the Nagas in general.&nbsp; <br \/>\nAs Yimchungr\u00fc Akher\u00fc Arih-ako&nbsp; celebrates 50 years, Tokheho urged the present generation to ponder and decide how to take the organization forward to a greater height which has been build on the sweat and toils of the pioneers.&nbsp; <br \/>\nHe said that the jubilee was being celebrated because of tireless service and sacrifice of the pioneers and pointed out that Yimchungr\u00fc Akher\u00fc Arih-ako&nbsp; was not a young organisation but has matured over half a century.&nbsp; <br \/>\nStating that an organisation celebrating 50 years is a \u201clong time\u201d when compared to only 52 years of statehood, he said in the process there has been generation of changes with new perspective and attitude towards life.<br \/>\nHe also exhorted the gathering on the theme \u201cHonoring our past, charting our future\u201d and unveiled the jubilee souvenir. <br \/>\nTokheho also congratulated Yimchungr\u00fc Akher\u00fc Arih-ako&nbsp; for organizing the jubilee celebration and hoped that the jubilee would usher in a bright future for the present generation and continue to guide the tribe in future.<br \/>\nParliamentary secretary, horticulture, DB &amp; GB, Kejong Chang and president Yimchunger Tribal Council (YTC), Keozih also spoke at the programme. <br \/>\nThe inaugural programme was presided over by Khalenmew and Easter while invocation was pronounced by women secretary Yimchungru Baptist Boru Amukhongto (YBBA) Dr. Toshila.<br \/>\nWelcome address was delivered by President Yimchungr\u00fc Akher\u00fc Arih-ako , Akiuba T.S, special numbers were also presented by M. Shophu and jubilee choir,&nbsp;&nbsp; vote of thanks was proposed by assembly secretary Yimchungr\u00fc Akher\u00fc Arih-ako&nbsp; Sonol while benediction was pronounced by Yimchungru Baptist Boru Amukhongto (YBBA) secretary Rev.
