The clash occurred at place between Namsang and Sipini village, under Deomali jurisdiction, Tirap district, according to sources.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">The factions resorted to indiscriminate firing resulting in the death of two cadres.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">MIP of GRPN\/NSCN identified the two slain cadres as \u2018capt.\u2019 Ranchoan, son of Wangjo of Paniduria village, Tirap district and \u2018corpl.\u2019 Lainwang Konyak, son of Pongkei Konyak of Yuching village Mon district. GPRN\/NSCN has expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members of the two slain cadres. MIP said the two died in \u201can unprovoked factional incident\u201d on May 31, 2108 at Deomali village, Paniduria under Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">One civilian RP from Namsang village, Deomali also suffered bullet injury to the leg, MIP stated. GPRN\/NSCN wished speedy recovery of the injured and prayed that God grant solace to bereaved families at this time of grief.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">FNR appeals for peace: In a statement, FNR has expressed deep concern over the clash between NSCN (I-M) and GPRN\/NSCN in Arunachal Pradesh and added that it was \u201cdevastated\u201d at the loss of human lives and injuries in the violence.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">&nbsp;FNR said that the factional violence that happened at a time when Nagas were reasoning together and seeking ways to strengthen the Naga reconciliation process, only undermined the Naga yearning for reconciliation, understanding and harmony.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">It said such acts were contradictory to the commitment and principles of the Covenant of Reconciliation, and so called for ending all factional violence, especially armed violence.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">FNR appealed to leaders of both the groups to \u201cimmediately intervene and stop this factional violence.\u201d&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Further, the forum appealed for restraint and urged the two sides to address the issues by using dialogue and peaceful means.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">FNR also called upon all the Naga Political Groups (NPGs) to remain vigilant and to refrain from all forms of armed violence and media-war.&nbsp;<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\">Meanwhile, FNR extended solidarity with fellow Nagas in Tirap, Changlang and Longding districts at their present difficult time.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Two GPRN\/NSCN cadres were killed and one civilian injured in a factional clash reportedly between NSCN (I-M) and GPRN\/NSCN in Tirap district, Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday.
