Duolo delivered the foundation day lecture. &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Alemtemshi in his speech said that with the planning commission out of the way, the state now had the sole authority to prioritize the developmental plans, while stressing the need for closer working relationship between the state departments and SASRD, in terms of research and technology refinement.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>He also emphasized that agriculture being the vital sector for the economy needed to be given priority, especially in the planning stage for which, he added that SASRD needed to interface actively with the state government for formulating policies and long term plans.<\/div>\n<div>Alemtemshi suggested that SASRD could focus on global climate change and to work sincerely towards food security to achieve the desired target.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>During the foundation day lecture on entrepreneurship development and the need to make specific niche products to put Nagaland on the commercial map, Duolo opined that Nagaland has channels to reach the mainland, as well as foreign markets in the east.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;He said that serious attention needed to be given to entrepreneurial activities, especially for the agriculture graduates. Duolo also challenged the graduates that by 2030, he would like to see 100 CEOs of successful agricultural enterprises.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The recipient of SASRD Alumni Association \u201cAlumni award\u201d was given to the graduate with highest OGPA Lipa Deb from Tripura who received the citation for achieving an OGPA of 9.10 out of 10, along with a cash prize of Rs. 20,000.<\/div>\n<div>Foundation day is sponsored by the various alumni batches and this year the 1981 batch sponsored the feast and evening programme, where Senti Longchar, an alumni put in a special appearance and presented the \u201cpotato\u201d and \u201cking chilly\u201d songs, accompanied by his daughter and son. &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The morning programme was chaired by the dean Prof. M. Aleminla Ao and the welcome address was given by pro vice chancellor, Prof. N.
