\nFNR in its expository on reconciliation, pointed that despite \u201cteeming problems across the world\u201d, the Baptist World Alliance (BWA) chose to \u201cbring to the forefront\u201d the Naga conflict \u201cas one of the most important issues in the world\u201d.
\nFNR likened the BWA as the \u201cUnited Nation of Baptists\u201d, which it said, had \u201csincerely and most passionately commended on those who have responded to the call for reconciliation, to declare \u201ctheir resolve to strengthen the Naga Reconciliation Process.\u201d
\nStating that the BWA praised reconciliation between conflicting Naga groups in north east India and Burma and supported it with prayers, FNR said the BWA also appealed to \u201cNaga brothers and sisters\u201d to be reconciled and \u201cadopt non-violent methods in pursuit of their goals\u201d. In this, FNR urged the signatories of the Covenant of Reconciliation (CoR) to fulfill its promise.
\nFNR said, at no time in the historic event, have Nagas witnessed such \u201coverwhelming and enthusiastic support for Naga reconciliation by the nations of the world\u201d and with BWA expressing its affirmation to the Naga reconciliation, it pondered in what ways were Nagas going to reciprocate?
\nFNR said despite differences between Naga political groups, Baptists around the world urged upon Nagas to \u201cadopt non violent methods\u201d in pursuit of \u201cour goals based on the \u2018historical and political rights of the Nagas.\u201d
\nStating that \u201cNagas have had enough bloodshed\u201d FNR urged Nagas to \u201chearken to the call of the Baptist bodies of the world\u201d by not \u201ckilling a single Naga\u201d due to factional conflicts and sort it out through non-violent means as seen happening \u201cthrough the Naga reconciliation: A Journey of Common Hope\u201d.
\nFNR disclosed that during the introduction of the BWA draft at its general council, a delegate from the Eastern European bloc added \u201cto commend the example of Nagas \u201cto all the Baptist brothers and sisters around the world\u201d in similar conflict situations.
\nFNR asserted this was a challenge on Nagas who have been made a \u201cparadigm of reconciliation by the world\u201d and urged them not to dare defy Baptists around the world who reposed their trust and \u201chigh hopes for the consummation of Naga reconciliation\u201d. FNR said through a whole hearted response \u201clet the world marvel that Nagas can reconcile and live in peace.\u201d<\/p>\n
