Fear and panic that engulfed Tuensang village which also spread to Tuensang town during the past several days, due to movement of armed cadres in full uniform subsided after both the NSCN\/GPRN (Khaplang) and GPRN\/NSCN have reportedly vacated the camps. Reports that cadres of both factions in moving in civilian areas in full uniform arose after some 20-25 cadres of NSCN\/GPRN (Khaplang) who had encamped in Tuensang village and cadres of GPRN\/NSCN (at Wongtho designated camp) were reportedly spotted around Tuensang town. 
\nHowever operations by Assam Rifles began conducted in the areas   to enforce peace and law and order, resulted in both the groups reportedly vacating town. The NSCN\/GPRN (Khaplang) groups also vacated Tuensang village. AR continued to be engaged in operations at various parts of Tuensang town as part of its operations to drive out all cadres from civilian areas. 
\nAccording to reliable sources, GPRN\/NSCN maintained that despite the former chairman S.S. Khaplang having signed the cease fire agreement with the Centre in 2001, he failed to initiate any political talks for the past 11 years.  GPRN\/NSCN source also maintained that, the ceasefire agreement with the government of India should be within the Nagaland and not outside the state. 
\nThe source also said the outfit was adopting a pro-people approach from all sections towards   Naga unity and reconciliation.<\/p>\n
