{"id":124393,"date":"2015-10-14T00:02:13","date_gmt":"2015-10-14T00:02:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/151.106.38.4\/2015\/10\/14\/can-launches-book-to-help-dropout-students\/"},"modified":"2015-10-14T00:02:13","modified_gmt":"2015-10-14T00:02:13","slug":"can-launches-book-to-help-dropout-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nagalandpost.net\/index.php\/2015\/10\/14\/can-launches-book-to-help-dropout-students\/","title":{"rendered":"CAN launches book to help dropout students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img src=\/old_site\/QUKAQYVUSWNZJZEQYJAH.jpg><\/p>\n<div>Towards entrepreneurship development and to provide opportunity for dropout students in skill training, CAN Youth has launched books on baseline survey and distributed seed money to youth support groups from three villages, Bade, Showuba and Selouphe on October 12 at Dimapur.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The baseline survey which had been conducted for two months at 5 villages under Dimapur district is support by Bosco Institute Jorhat.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>While launching the survey books, chief guest and president of Dimapur district GB association, Shikuto Zalipu said that youths are today\u2019s backbone for a better future and those dropouts who are neglected need to be encouraged to work with commitment and honesty.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>He also congratulated CAN Youth for taking the initiative towards this endeavour of guiding the youth with proper guidance so that they abstain from illegal activities.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Shikuto Zalipu also said that drop-outs cannot be wiped out and hence appealed the government to check education system, especially in rural areas and sensitise them on fundamental rights of RTE. &nbsp;He also appealed upon village leaders to extend their cooperation initiated by CAN Youth to expand their noble work in other villages.<\/div>\n<div>\u201cBeing dropout is a blessing as they are left with huge room provided they are not called useless by people,\u201d exhorted the director Bosco Institute Dr. Jery Thomas, while he also encouraged CAN Youth to indentify more youth and facilitate them towards their requisite skills and talent.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Dimapur branch manager, SIDBI S. Pauminthang Gangte congratulated the beneficiaries and encouraged them to use the seed money wisely and honesty. He asked them to work with dedication to bring positive change for the less privileged youth as well for the society in general.<\/div>\n<div>The programme was attended by public leaders, NGOs, members of DDGBA, well wishers and all the five villages GBs, chairman and youth organization.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The program was chaired by Matsunginla, invocation by pastor Chang Baptist Fellowship, Naga united village S.
