\n Reacting to various accusations labelled against it by the NSCN\/GPRN (Khaplang) post June 7 event, the GPRN\/NSCN Thursday said the accusations by \u201cmisguided elements at Suruhuto Camp\u201d did not merit any response because it was responsible to the Naga people. A statement from MIP, said GPRN\/NSCN was ready to deliberate and take questions from all sections of Naga society as it was one way of \u201cmoulding and creating practical political roadmap of the Naga people.\u201d
\nThe MIP claimed transitional period was over and that GPRN\/NSCN looked ahead to the future with proven Naga leaders at the helm of affairs.
\nAccording to MIP, the interest of GPRN\/NSCN and Naga people did not have any affinity with \u201cfrustrated former comrades relentlessly cursing and accusing Naga leaders.\u201d
\nThe GPRN\/NSCN pointed out that it has \u201cclearly and lucidly\u201d issued number of statements explaining why S.S Khaplang was impeached June 7. The MIP GPRN\/NSCN said that despite \u201ctheir delirious trumpeting\u201d of Khaplang\u2019s name, it was unlikely that there was \u201creal communication\u201d happening between \u201cSuruhuto and Khaplang\u2019s hideout in interior Burma.\u201d
\nFurther, asserting that whether it was the Naga political issue or the reconciliation process, there was \u201cinexplicable contradiction amongst them\u201d, the GPRN\/NSCN said \u201cthe ambition of those at Suruhuto and Khaplang clearly differs and only time will prove it.\u201d The GPRN\/NSCN asserted that Naga people were politically conscious people and it was not hard to differentiate between statements concerning \u201cNaga people and their political struggle and those statements contaminating esteemed media outlets with intense outpourings reflecting disturbing emotional inconsistency.\u201d It maintained that facts of history and not dubious stories would take the Naga people forward. \u201cIf Suruhuto group questions the legitimacy of Khaplang\u2019s impeachment and expulsion, GPRN\/NSCN would only provide the signatures of some of their own members who were physically and mentally sound and who, on their own volition, signed the impeachment and expulsion of S.S Khaplang,\u201d MIP said.<\/p>\n
