Patton for being \u201ccommitted and vigilant in protecting the public property\u201d and for personally visiting Rangapahar forest and Ntangki national park for spot verification after becoming he became the minister.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, ZBN appealed to the state government \u201cto remain precautious in course of saving and preserving forest and its rich flora &amp; fauna and not dissuade by any vested person.\u201d Further, Baudi conveyed its fullest support in the venture of defending the public property.<\/p>\n<p>GFN: Lauding the department for talking \u201cbold steps\u201d in evicting illegal encroachers of public property, Green Foundation Nagaland (GFN) urged the department to secure the boundaries of NZP properly and construct protection walls or barbed wire fencing to avoid future encroachment. <\/p>\n<p>In a press release, Green Foundation Nagaland PRO Zachamo Ezung urged all responsible to honour the High court rulings and desist from illegal encroachment of reserved areas\/wildlife sanctuaries in the state.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the GFN also extended appreciation to forest minister Y Patton for taking up positive steps for conservation of wildlife and biodiversity in the state. <\/p>\n<p>It also extended appreciation to the district planning development boards of Mokokchung, Wokha and Kohima for resolving to protect and preserve the flora and fauna in the state. <\/p>\n<p>GFN said it was particularly happy for the positive steps taken by the district administration, forest personnel and NGOs of Mokokchung and Wokha for the conservation of Amur falcons in the state.<\/p>\n<p>It urged the government to frame stricter rules to prevent mass massacre of migratory birds in the state, which was bringing bad reputation to the people of the state.<\/p>\n<p>Kyong Hoho: Kyong Hoho (KH) has expressed its appreciation to the forest department, Dimapur police and IRB Mahila for conducting the eviction drive in Nagaland Zoological Park on August 2. <\/p>\n<p>Kyong Hoho further expressed its solidarity and support to forest department, government of Nagaland in taking stringent and appropriate measures to protect and safeguard the park. <\/p>\n<p>The Hoho also appealed to all bonafide citizens to come forward and extend support and co-operation in preserving and conserving the park for future posterity.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland (ZBN) and Green Foundation Nagaland (GFN) have lauded the forest department, Dimapur district administration and police and IR personnel for carrying out eviction drive at Nagaland Zoological Park area August 2.
