Elithung Odyuo and general secretary Francis Kikon said while \u201cNagaland was at the threshold of solving the vexed Naga political movement\u201d such a move to auction oil well by the centre could jeopardize the peace accord.<br \/>\nAt the meeting, LLOMBZA also resolved to support state government\u2019s resentment against the union government decision to auction oil wells in Nagaland.<br \/>\nWhile expressing concern over the long delay in oil exploration, LLOMBZA urged the government and MOGPL for immediate and simultaneous seismic survey and other operational activities that could expedite operation in the zone during the first phase. <br \/>\n\u201cThese would materialize the long cherished dreams of the people and bring about development in backward area of Wokha district,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reacting to decision of the Ministry of Petroleum &amp; Natural Gas (MoPNG) to auction oil wells in Nagaland, the Lotha Lower Oil and Mineral Bearing Zone Association (LLOMBZA) has asserted that land holding rights in Nagaland was unique and therefore should be respected.
