Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) in a press statement claimed that the photo of its \u2018kilonser\u2019 flashed in local newspapers was in fact the photo of Naga Army group of 33rd roster, central guards that had appeared in the 2010, NNC calendar and that the photo published did not match the person but used \u201conly to confuse readers\u201d.

It described the reports as \u201cblatant lies and illogical accusations\u201d against NNC leaders and attempts to implicate and destroy the \u201cgood image\u201d of the FGN, that \u201cestablished and sanctified by Naga people.\u201d
\nFGN was reacting to reports of the attempted robbery at gunpoint in the office room of the DDO, directorate health and family welfare department on April 9, 2011 and subsequent reports that the department had again faced the same threat on August 4, 2011.
\nFGN said it was aware of the people\u2019s plight and sufferings \u201cdue to unlawful extortions, intimidations, threats\u201d and even killing of innocent public and blamed it on \u201chenchmen and agents of enemy India.\u201d<\/p>\n
FGN asserted that its \u201cNaga National Workers\u201d will continue to move and work freely \u201cwithout fear in our Homeland Nagaland\u201d and warned that those who inflict any harm against the physical well being of its members or personal security shall personally face the consequence. \nFGN dy. kilonser clarifies<\/span>
\nMeanwhile V. Phutoi Zhimomi, dy. kilonser natural resources-cum-finance secretary FGN, has expressed shock at being named in the wanted notice issued by North P.S. Kohima in connection with the \u2018medical directorate intimidation case\u2019.
\nPhutoi denied having ever known, talked to or even phoned the DDO of the directorate. He claimed that facts could be confirmed with the police who made inquiries with the DDO. Phutoi also denied having ordered the intimidation or threat on the DDO\u2019s life.
\nHe admitted that as finance secretary of the FGN, he only discharged his duties \u201cin requesting financial assistance from various departments and even individuals, well wishers for the national cause.\u201d
\nHe claimed that such requests were made through authorization letters to bearers and in conformity with the FGN directives, no threats or intimidations \u201chave ever been resorted to.\u201d
